On the 6th of December we had a joyful Ceremony for the five little Graduates from the Creche. Our dear Khanyisile arrived back from St Brendan’s in time to be the MC. Fr Cyril Arima began the program with a prayer and after that Sr Sally welcomed everyone and explained the purpose of the day.
The little graduates entertained us and showed us how much they had learned throughout the year with their activities, games, and rhymes.
Then the main graduation ceremony commenced, and the children received their Certificates. Grade Rs gave them special blessings and hugs and they later received lovely gifts presented by Harold and Queen.
Speeches followed, with representatives speaking about the children and their achievements. Carmel spoke on behalf of the management of the Centre. There was entertainment from the older children – dancing and dramas – so much talent!
